2010 Aurora
To Melissa Hrychuk, former owner of SNAP Aurora, volunteering means the joy of giving. Melissa has contributed to many local charity initiatives including Aurora Chamber networking events, the Aurora Chamber golf tournament, and volunteer photographer for many community events. However, her trip to the Desmond Tutu Centre in Africa in 2009 remains the most cherished of all Melissa’s giving activities. Traveling to the schools, meeting children, visiting their homes and participating in school programs for orphans touched Melissa deeply. She plans to contribute a portion of the profits of her future insurance agency to South African Programs. Melissa is pursuing new endeavours and we will miss her generosity and support in Aurora.
